The Dental Implant Procedure
First your doctor will surgically place a titanium root into your jawbone (in the space left by the missing tooth). Once the area has healed and the gum and jawbone have adhered to the root, an abutment will be placed on the root. Abutments are connecting pieces that join the prosthesis to the implants. A custom ceramic tooth is then crafted and permanently seated on the abutment. The tooth is designed to look completely natural and blend seamlessly into your smile.
The result? A tooth that looks, feels and functions like a natural tooth.
Dental implants improve your health by supporting proper jaw alignment and enabling you to bite and chew. They also reduce your chance of developing gum disease and enhance your appearance.
Implant Placement & Restoration
Our doctors have the education, training and expertise to do both the surgical implant placement and implant restoration in our office. If a replacement tooth on the implant ever cracks or breaks, our doctors can also restore it to health and strength.
If you are ready to replace missing teeth, once and for all, ask your doctor about dental implants!
They are professional and respectful here – you don’t wait past your appointment time. The care they provide for your teeth/mouth is excellent. And they are just super nice overall.
